Comfortabl and quiet.
It was fine. But required a 10 minute tram journey to the centre of Leipzig.

I chose the hotel for its location, as I wanted to work at the German National Library; and I found it very convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff were, if anything, a little too enthusiastic.

The breakfast was great, all meals were good. Well decorated room, consistently courteous staff - everything was very good. Location: the hotel was next to the Botanical Garden of Leipzig and the christmas markets...

Loved a mini bar, satellite TV, and climate control in the room. The staff was incredibly friendly and amiable when needed. Favourable and absolutely perfect location - easy walk to everywhere we needed.

Friendly staff, very clean rooms. Street was reasonably quiet, except for the trams. The carpet had just been changed. Decent beds. Nice but small courtyard for breakfast and drinks at night. Smoking allowed on courtyard. TV had HDMI and S-VIDEO connectors. Cheap breakfast with lots of choice.
No airconditioning, there are only a few rooms overlooking the courtyard the rest was on the street. Rooms are on the small side, small TV. The hotel is in an old, ugly area of the city. You need a car or a tram to get to the center. Reception closes at 10:30 pm, after which no one of the staff is present. There were higher class hotels a bit further out from the city, we think we would probably have been better off there. Breakfast: eggs were almost always cold. The hot chocolate wasn't hot. The coffee tasted burnt. Little flies were on the fruit and the food laid out in the middle of the breakfast area, which didn't make it look very inviting to eat.

Good bathroom, good breakfast.
One off the curtins of the room were without the back blackout, light invades the room (We discover that after the Reception is closed at 11 P.M.). Need urgently change matresses and pillows. Leipzig tram circulates in front the hotel...the windows of the room are faced to street...so is good for 1 night only (if you tired dead).

Friendly and accomodating staff, charming building and room (stayed in single room). Clean, relatively quiet. Good breakfast. Not far from grocery store, which is convenient. Nice neighbourhood a few tram stops from the city centre. Recommended!

Charming interior, lovely staff, but outside could use some sprucing up.

It feels like a small and intimate hotel, where the staff are accessible and friendly. The position is very convenient for anyone concerned with the University, but a little far from the centre. However it is serviced by very good tram lines that reach the center with in 5 minutes. The rooms are small, but very pleasant. In the lobby there is a very nice little bar in the evenings.

We had a fantastic time during our stay! The staff welcomed us warmly, and the room was spacious and well-kept. The breakfast in the backyard was a highlight-delicious and a great way to start the day. The noise from the busy street outside made it difficult to open the windows at night. A pleasant experience, especially for exploring the nearby attractions.

Staff was friendy, accommodating and so welcoming. Its a shame that the room I occupied is on the dirty side and looks its not been dusted for a couple of weeks.
Condition of the room (see note above)

close to, but but not right in the central city area. Tram stop just a short (100m) walk. Nice little bar in the lobby. Very friendly evening staff.
No laundry or dry cleaning arrangements either in the hotel or nearby. Bed mattress has seen some use.

The staff here really went above and beyond, from the complimentary sparkling water to their helpful daily bulletins. I loved relaxing on the sun terrace and enjoying the peaceful garden area. The only minor issue was that I could hear a bit of tram noise from my room, but closing the windows did the trick. 🌞
